Trick or Treat

Now that the kids are older and the last two Halloweens have been nice weatherwise, we take them around my parent's neighborhood since all of Josh's school friends live around that area, we love it. Everyone is so nice and there is this particular house that decorates so cool and this year they had a mini haunted house it was awesome. You had to walk inside the place to get your candy and there was a guy dressed up as Joker from the batman movie and he also had a chain saw that scared the kids..
Josh was again a star wars character, a clone trooper. Katie was the little mermaid, and Chloee was a green fairy. Marc, Nan, and Ryder joined us as well as Joseph and Kelsey. Smalls and Spike came to play with Buddy who was dressed up as a little devil dog.

Halloween pictures

Who doesn't like Halloween? it's such a fun holiday kids dress up, get candy, they EAT the candy, and then they want to stay up late... but at least it's only once a year.
Uncle Joseph and Auntie Kelsey came over last night to bring the kids treats they're sweet Auntie Star sent them from Atlanta. they were so excited! She also sent them some halloween t-shirts. So I inmediately thought of having them wear them on friday morning so I could take pictures. I also made the girls some bows to put on their hair, but Chloee threw up on her shirt so she ended up wearing another shirt I got her..

she wasn't happy..

Katie's first field trip

Katie had a lot of fun at her very first field trip at Pumpkin land in Orem. I really had to talk her into going in the bus because she is terrified about riding it, but I told her she would sit next to one of her teachers who are so nice and she loves them! Chloee and I also came to pumpkin land with her since parents were also invited.
Here's some pictures of her fun trip, and be advised that she posed for almost every single pic...
there she is looking at the camera..
you can tell she's paying attention..
isn't she so cute?!

Gifts with love..

I have this big hobby of buying beads, I've designed and made jewelry since I was in high school but I hadn't really made anything in the last 3 maybe 4 yrs except for buying lots of beads and storing them, so I finally pulled my collection out and made some really cute earrings and necklaces for my sister's birthday. I was very pleased with how they turned out and I think they liked them too!

the ones on the left (blue) were leech's because she likes the smaller stuff and the black tear drop ones are Nan's.

Leech & Nan's birthday party

Sunday morning, my mom calls me at 8:30 am with the intention of planning something last minute to celebrate the twins' birthday... so, since Leech is the one with the bigger house my mom suggested (sorta) to get together at her house at 5 pm. Everything was very good, we made tostadas de pollo y carne. And since it was all almost unplanned instead of having the usual cake, my mommy made this delicious gelatina mosaico (mosaic jell-o).
I love that both my sisters are older and married, I never got to really hang out with them before now we have more things in common (husbands, children, careers) its awesome. I love them so much!

this is why it's called "mosaic"...

to the "witches" we go...

www.gardnervillage.com

We love going to Garner Village during October because the kids love their witches decoration and I love going to the little stores and shop, except this time we went late and the stores were about to close so I missed my fun that time... I am planning on going this weekend again but this time I will go early and hopefully I can bring my sisters with me and have our fun

Chloee 4 months

Our Chloee turned 4 months old. She is growing so quick and is so smart, she's got her daddy wrapped around her finger. She'll fight me and stay awake until Hyrum gets home from work just so he can rock her to sleep so I've started a rule that the kids will go to bed by 8 pm (including chlo) and she's been really good at it, she'll sleep for 10 hrs straight, it's great!!
She is so much fun, she loves playing with Josh and Katie, and loves chatting with mommy and daddy, she loves giving away little smiles to almost anyone that talks to her. She does have a bad habit, she likes to watch TV a little too much, the other day, I was nursing her and the tv was on so she kept turning to see what was on tv so I turned it off so she could focus on eating, so this missy got really mad and started crying so loud I just laughed, but from that day on I don't nurse while watching TV.
We took some pictures today just because I found my camera again from being lost...

What a cutie!

Finally!

My camera had been lost for a good 3 weeks and I was going crazy trying to find it. Of course, it was in my diaper bag duh.. I always leave it in there but I also always leave the diaper bag inside the car is its kinda hard for me to haul 3 kids, my handbag, etc so bringing the diaper bag is a definite NO that's why it stays safely in the car for when I need it since Chloee breasfeeds there's no need for it :-) .
Grandma Christensen came about 3 or 4 wks ago and we got some pictures of her making Chloee laugh. She loves her grandkids so much and of course the kids love her too.

Losing hair!

A week ago I noticed that I started losing my hair, but this isn't just little hair, I mean HUGE hair loss, I washed my hair, combed it, and even running my fingers through it and it falls in the handfuls! I knew that after birth you usually lose some hair and in fact with after Josh was born I lost so much hair I had a bald spot on the crown of my head, but this is more than before and beyond normal hair loss or so I thought, so I googled my problem and found a website called babycenter and began reading comments from other moms with the same issue and I was totally relieved. I told Hyrum about my problem and he said he would buy me a colored spray that is supposed to cover bald spots.. What?!! not nice at all, and if he was trying to be helpful, it didn't help and totally made the situation even worse!!

back to bloggin'

After a while of not being able to blog, I finally got around to post something today. woo hoo I'm back in business!! Truth is having 3 kids really is difficult ( I hope somebody relates...) since Chloee was born it was nursing on demand and while she was sleeping Josh and Katie also needed my undivided attention it is so time consuming but all worth it!!
The summer was great, the whole stay at home mom is kinda fun. I must confess I get frustrated and when I am inside the house all day long that at the end of the day I do get a little irritated. But I do try to keep busy by going to pick up Josh and Katie from school.
I started working again but this time from home, work is okay keeps me busy for a few hours but usually Chloee (who is the one that of course stays at home with me ) gets tired and starts crying so thats when I know that work needs to come to an end for the day.
I'll post some pictures of the kids because I'm not going to write about everything I did this summer because my life is too exciting.. lol right...
